Number of entries so far = 2
From Mahatma Gandhi to Mother Teresa, from Confucius to Marie Curie, from Oscar Wilde to Mae West, great men and women have always inspired us, challenged us, and made us laugh with their perfectly put words of wisdom. We all love to quote them – but do you always know who said what? You do? Well, you know what to do now, don't you... .
PAY AND PLAY!You must pay £3.00 to enter. £1.00 from every ticket sold goes to Kith and Kids.
After you have paid, you will be navigated to a page which features three multiple choice questions. All of them are famous quotes – things that famous people have said or written. You must answer all three questions correctly in order for your ticket to be entered into the prize draw. You will be timed out after 6 minutes. If you decide to pay for more than one go, you will be timed out after 6 minutes every time you enter. So, for example, if you decide to enter 3 times, you will be navigated to the questions page 3 times and have 6 minutes to complete your entry every time.
That’s not all. Just to keep you on your toes, one question will be changed at random intervals of time...just to keep it interesting!Every ticket that is bought has a number on it. All the correct entries go into a prize draw. The winning ticket will be picked randomly by the computer.
The cash prize will be one third of the total revenue from competition entry ticket sales. One third will go to Kith and Kids – the charity we are aiming to raise money for with this competition. Instant Haven Ltd. will keep the remaining one third to cover costs. So for example, if we sell 10 tickets, equivalent to £30.00, the winner will receive £10.00 and Kith and Kids will receive £10.00. If we sell 10,000 tickets, equivalent to £30,000, the winner will receive £10,000, and Kith and Kids will receive £10,000. The answers to all the questions used in the competition will be published on this website after this competition has closed. This competition will close at midnight on 31st May 2010. The draw will be held within seven working days of that date.
